Does CASLAWIA have an office abroad?
Yes, we have an office in Prague Czech Republic. Familiar with their education and skill categories the office in the Czech Republic screens and determines the qualification of each applicant.
Why the Czech-Slovak Republic?
The Czech-Slovak Republic has an outstanding educational system tailored towards higher skilled jobs.
I need my employees to speak English. Will that be a problem?
No. The ability to speak English in the Czech-Slovak Republic is growing. We test the English ability of all the applicants. If required a phone interview can be arrange to ensure adequate English ability.
I do not understand the hiring foreign workers process at all. How can CASLAWIA help?
We understand the process and we do the paperwork. Starting with the LMO approval from government, to picking the perfect employee, and to the first day of work, we will be there to guide you along the process. Its our job to know the process.
I do not have an LMO (Labour Market Opinion). Can you help me?
Yes, we have experience dealing with the Alberta Government and we know exactly what is required for approval.
How much details do you have about the job applicants?
We have all the information normally required to determine whether a person is right for the job. Resume, education certificates, previous employer recommendations etc. If required we can set up a phone interview. Currently we have over 300 applicants in our database so there is a vast array of people to choose from.
Special Program for applicants between 18-35 years old?
The Agreement between the Czech Republic and Canada concerning the Facilitation of Temporary Work Stays of Youth came into force on October 1st, 2007. The Agreement offers young Czech citizens, between the age of 18 and 35, the opportunity to acquire professional or hands-on experience and to improve their knowledge of the languages, culture and society of Canada. There are several programs offered. On of them is “Career Development” which is intended for young adults who wish to obtain further remunerated training in their field in Canada under a pre-arranged contract of employment in support of their career development. Another program is “Working Holiday Program” which is intended for young adults who wish to stay in Canada for tourism and cultural discovery while being authorized to work on an occasional basis in order to supplement their financial resources.
